The film I hold to be the most artistic of all films I have seen. It's use of color, soundtrack and imagery are powerful. I blame this film for associating some of [[Beethoven|Beethoven's]] more aggressive music with violence in my mind.

It features [[Stanley Kubrick|Stanley Kubrick's]] obsession with sex, as per his usual, but the plot incorporates it well and the scenes tend to be powerful.
